Response to the Brief

My name is Clara Rodrigues. For this production I have chosen to work with Chloe Harrison because we have worked together in the past so we get along and we work well together and also because we have a lot of the same interests so it will be easy to pick a film genre together. We have chosen to do brief number 6 ‘A selection of materials related to an original children’s TV drama, to include the title sequence to the TV programme’ and with this option we have chosen to do the front cover to a magazine for the series and a DVD cover for the series. We have chosen this brief because we will be able to experiment different techniques and skills and also because the last brief we did for year 12 was a similar thing so we have a big idea of what we are doing.
We have decided to make our target audience for the product both genders because we feel it will be easy to base it around both genders. Also for the gender we were influenced by the cbeebies because their target audience is 6 years old and younger and we also a young audience.
We have a couple of ideas for our narrative, such as we want to have two main character one being a male and the other a female, and we want them main characters to be singing in the tittle sequence.
We also want our title sequence to be similar to the Tweenies because their title sequence is a really fun title sequence.

A selection of materials related to an original children’s TV drama, to include the title sequence to the TV programme, together with two of the following three options:
• the front cover to a magazine for the series;
• a DVD cover for the series;
• a radio advertisement for the magazine.
